چکیده
Some basic topics in Light-Front (LF) quantized field theory are reviewed. Poincarè algebra and the LF Spin operator are discussed. The local scalar field theory of the conventional framework is shown to correspond to a nonlocal Hamiltonian theory on the LF in view of the constraint equations on the phase space, which relate the bosonic condensates to the non-zero modes. This new ingredient is useful to describe the spontaneous symmetry breaking on the LF. The instability of the symmetric phase in two dimensional scalar theory when the coupling constant grows is shown in the LF theory renormalized to one loop order. Chern-Simons gauge theory, regarded to describe excitations with fractional statistics, is quantized in the light-cone gauge and a simple LF Hamiltonian obtained which may allow us to construct renormalized theory of anyons. Key-words: Light-front; Quantization; Gauge theory; Phase Transition.

We consider relative entropy in Field Theory as a well defined (non-divergent) quantity of interest. We establish a monotonicity property with respect to the couplings in the theory. As a consequence, the relative entropy in a field theory with a hierarchy of renormalization group fixed points ranks the fixed points in decreasing order of criticality. We argue from a generalized H theorem that ...

Superstring field theory was recently used to derive a four-dimensional Maxwell action with manifest duality. This action is related to the McClain-Wu-Yu Hamiltonian and can be locally coupled to electric and magnetic sources. In this letter, the manifestly dual Maxwell action is supersymmetrized using N=1 and N=2 superspace.
